Cloud Services
Work from anywhere. Securely, flexibly, collaboratively.
Overview
Simplify how, when and where your employees work with a cloud environment that's secure, flexible and collaborative. Find a cloud solution that aligns with your business model, public, private, or hybrid.
Start with the workload, not the platform
Cloud projects go wrong when the destination is chosen before the workload is understood. A line of business application with a chatty database and users in one office can cost more and perform worse in Azure than on a well specified server downstairs. A collaboration platform is the opposite case.
We assess each workload on its own merits, covering dependencies, licensing, data residency, bandwidth and the real cost over three years rather than the first invoice. Sometimes the recommendation is that a workload stays where it is.
Microsoft 365 and Azure
Most of our cloud work sits in the Microsoft stack: Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive and Teams, with identity in Entra ID and devices in Intune. The tenant work that matters is rarely the migration itself. It is conditional access, multi factor enforcement, sharing policy, retention and the licensing mix.
On Azure we build infrastructure and platform workloads against a well architected review covering cost, reliability and security, with hybrid connectivity designed properly rather than tunnelled over whatever is available.
Governance, cost and data sovereignty
Cloud spend drifts. Test environments stay running, storage tiers never get reviewed, licences stay assigned to people who left. We review cost against actual usage and bring you the list of things to switch off, usually the fastest saving available in any IT budget.
Where data residency obligations apply, we keep workloads in Australian regions and document where data sits and who can reach it. Altitudo operates in line with the Australian Privacy Principles and can supply that documentation for procurement or audit.

Common questions
Should we move everything to the cloud?
Usually not. Collaboration, email and identity almost always belong in the cloud. Large file shares, latency sensitive applications and some line of business systems often do not, once you price three years of egress, licensing and bandwidth. We assess each workload separately and tell you where staying put is the better answer.
Is our data stored in Australia?
For the workloads we design, yes. Microsoft 365 and Azure services are provisioned in Australian regions, and we can document data location and access paths for procurement, audit or board reporting. Data sovereignty is a standing requirement for the education and not for profit clients we work with.
Can you reduce our Microsoft 365 licensing costs?
Often. The common findings are licences still assigned to departed staff, users on a higher tier than their role requires, and duplicate products already included in a bundle you hold. A licensing review is a short piece of work and usually pays for itself in the first quarter.
How long does a Microsoft 365 migration take?
For a fifty to two hundred user organisation, typically four to eight weeks from kickoff to decommissioning the old platform. Mail moves in batches, with a coexistence period so nothing lands in a gap. The variable is rarely mail volume, it is the state of the identity and the shared mailboxes.
Do you support AWS as well as Azure?
Yes, though the majority of our client base runs Microsoft. Where AWS is already in place or is the better architectural fit, we design and support it. We would rather tell you the honest answer about where our depth sits than win the work and learn on your environment.
